The Opportunity
We are seeking a Bioinformatics Scientist to join our Bioinformatics and Scientific Affairs team. This is a 1-year post-doc program with the possibility of conversion to full-time employment.
The role focuses on generating high-quality analyses to support scientific publications, conference presentations, and customer-facing enablement. You will collaborate with internal scientific teams and external partners to advance our multiomics platform and drive impactful research. This position reports to the VP, Bioinformatics and Scientific Affairs.
What You'll Do
- Data Analysis: Design, execute, and interpret multiomic and single-cell data analyses (scRNA-seq, CITE-seq, spatial transcriptomics) to generate publication-quality insights.
- Pipeline Development: Develop and maintain bioinformatics pipelines and software tools to support platform development.
- Scientific Communication: Contribute to manuscripts, figure generation, and data visualization for peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
- Collaboration: Work closely with wet-lab scientists and product teams to design experiments and interpret results.
- Statistical Application: Apply exploratory data analysis and statistical methods to large datasets to identify biological patterns.
- Innovation: Stay current with advances in NGS technologies, multiomics methods, and bioinformatics best practices.
What You'll Bring
